www.Derby.support Great News This Friday!

With an update to www.DerbyCommunityHub.com 👀 You've got to see it - Plus learn more about these great new benefits for communities in Derby!

We're the first community on the planet to be able to install the @TXTWRK!Documentation: All Activity! and feel privileged to educate you about this historical movements for the City of Derby, our nation and globally on the world stage!

TXTWRK really proves the reason in public, open & transparent character profiles.

---

What does it all mean?

1. By adding your location at TXTWRK, you can become part of Derby's connected community network.

When you create your TXTWRK profile and add Derby as your location, the public information and activity you choose to build through TXTWRK can become associated with that location.

That means we're not simply creating another local directory where somebody has to manually add every person, organisation or update.

We're beginning to create a living community index powered by the people actually using it.

---

2. Your public TXTWRK activity can become useful beyond TXTWRK itself.

TXTWRK isn't only about creating a profile.

Public TXTWRK records can include things such as:
•Your public profile
•Posts and updates
•Topics and categories
•Events
•Checklists and volunteering opportunities
•Feedback
•Questions and community activity
•Skills and contributions
•Projects and work
•Products and other public activity
•Location-connected records

The important idea is that these records don't necessarily have to remain on one social timeline.

Through TXTWRK's Web API Kits, participating community websites can use TXTWRK's structured public information within their own websites and services.

Publish once. Build a useful public record. Let that record become discoverable in more useful places.

---

3. That's what we've installed in Derby today. 🌍

Today we've installed TXTWRK API technology across:

www.Derby.support

and

www.DerbyCommunityHub.com

This allows our community websites to connect with TXTWRK rather than us having to manually recreate every piece of community information ourselves.

There are two important parts we want Derby to understand.

The Linking Menu

The TXTWRK Linking API Kit helps connect people with locations.

By setting your location on TXTWRK, your public profile can become associated with Derby and made discoverable through our connected community services.

Our Linking Menu can then help people explore and search the community using filters designed around useful local discovery.

Over time, this creates something much more meaningful than a list of names.

Location and profile information can help people discover others through things such as:
•Location
•Time in an area
•Languages
•Community involvement
•Volunteering interests
•Skills
•Career context

— where those fields form part of the appropriate public profile/search information.

It means a community website can start asking a much more useful question:

"Who and what is actually connected to this place?"

---

4. The new All Activity API Kit takes this another step forward.

The All Activity API Kit allows public TXTWRK activity to be featured through connected websites.

So rather than visiting Derby.support and only seeing information written directly by us, the website can begin reflecting activity created by people using the wider TXTWRK network.

Where that activity is publicly available and connected appropriately to Derby, it can become part of the local discovery experience.

This means Derby.support can increasingly become a window into what people are:

doing, creating, organising, offering, asking, sharing, developing and contributing across Derby.

And because this is delivered through an API Kit, the information originates from the TXTWRK system and can be presented through our own community website.

---

5. Public does NOT mean everything about you becomes public. 🔐

This distinction is incredibly important.

TXTWRK is being developed around public records with clear private boundaries.

The purpose of these community API Kits is to make appropriate public information more useful and discoverable — not to expose people's private account information.

Private or protected areas can include things such as:
•Private messages
•Notifications
•Private to-dos
•Private saves
•Scrapboard information
•Wallet and balance areas
•Business dashboard information
•Purchase/address information
•Certain checklist application information
•Your registered email address

So when we talk about an open and transparent community network, we're talking about making the things intended to form your public character, public activity and public contribution useful.

Your private working and account information remains a different layer.

---

6. And what about Premium or paid TXTWRK services?

TXTWRK also has a separate Premium/service layer and is developing additional paid tools and tiers.

That is different from the principle we're demonstrating here.

The community discovery idea is about connecting appropriate public TXTWRK records to useful community services.

Private account areas, protected information and paid/Premium services don't suddenly become public because a community has installed an API Kit.

Think of it as different layers:

PUBLIC

Things you intentionally build as part of your public TXTWRK presence and activity.

PRIVATE / PROTECTED

Your personal working areas, account information and protected interactions.

PREMIUM / PAID SERVICES

Additional TXTWRK services, tools and capabilities provided through its service tiers.

---

7. Why does this matter for Derby?

Because we're testing a different model for community technology.

Instead of every community organisation building another isolated database...

Instead of residents repeatedly creating the same information on different websites...

Instead of useful community activity disappearing down social-media timelines...

We can begin connecting structured public information together.

A person can build their public character.

An organisation can document what it does.

Someone can publish an opportunity.

Someone can volunteer.

Someone can create an event.

Someone can share feedback.

Someone can contribute skills.

And community websites can begin helping people discover those records through the place they belong to.

---

Derby is helping demonstrate what that future could look like.

Today we've installed these TXTWRK API Kits into www.Derby.support and www.DerbyCommunityHub.com.

This Friday, we're excited to show you more.

Add your location on TXTWRK.

Build your public profile.

Share useful public activity.

Connect with Derby.

And watch what happens when a community website becomes connected to the people who make the community what it is. 🌍

Discover. Connect. Contribute.

One-Page Briefing: Community First, Business Enrolment, Events & Local Discovery

Why this matters now

Over the coming weeks, Derby.support will enrol people, businesses, venues, creators, students, community groups and local supporters onto TXTWRK.com. The aim is simple: help Derby find itself better. Members will register on TXTWRK.com, add their bio, publish updates, answer questions, add events, and become linkable through the Derby.support menu system. When a business or group adds an event on TXTWRK.com, that event can become discoverable through Derby.support.

This is not just a business directory. Derby.support is community first. Businesses sit inside community, alongside residents, students, venues, creators, organisations, events and local ideas. We have already built a wider community question bank, and the next step is a business-focused questionnaire that is quick to complete, mostly multi-choice, and useful enough to understand how business is going, what support people need, how customers should interact online/offline, what customers could do more, and who wants to join the next Derby.support event.

Derby.support has been built through years of effort. We started in 2021, developed the framework and community direction in 2022, raised the bar in 2023 by securing the Derby.support domain and holding an important meeting with around 5–10 organisations and local figures including Alan Graves, Derby Museums, BBC Radio Derby and others. In 2024, we developed more TXTWRK tools, local systems and website sections. In 2025, we worked with Derby College social media students, giving them real community campaign experience. Now in 2026, despite no donations, no financial support and major challenges, Derby.support is ready to enrol directly through TXTWRK.com and build the next layer of Derby’s community network.

---

Why the story must be recorded

Derby.support has not developed in easy conditions. While building Derby Community Hub and Derby.support, we experienced rejection, neglect, poor communication and minor levels of hostility from organisations that should understand community development.

Organisation / routeDerby.support’s recorded experience
University of Derby2023 meeting experience felt dismissive/mocking, with no professional follow-up.
Marketing Derby / CityLabDerby.support gifted a mini plaque, supported/wrote about activity and made community videos, yet received no meaningful recognition or response.
Derby City CouncilFailed to respond properly to support/financial applications while Derby.support was working from Derby College in summer 2025, despite students being nurtured.
Derby County Football ClubIgnored Derby.support invites/tags despite publicly promoting community activity.
National Lottery Fund & other Derby-based routesCommunications and support routes often failed to produce meaningful responses.
This is not included to stop progress. It is included because it explains why Derby.support is now building directly with people, businesses, students and community members.

---

What happens next

Derby.support will now invite early members to:

1. Register on TXTWRK.com
2. Add their bio and public information
3. Become linkable through Derby.support
4. Add events that can appear through Derby.support
5. Answer quick business/community questions
6. Join the next Derby.support event if interested

The questionnaire will not be a long, tiring form. Derby.support already has broad community questions covering work, skills, city image, venues, initiatives, activities, safety, local support and community involvement. The business set will only use what applies, then add dedicated multi-choice questions for business needs, customer interaction, events, student involvement and local support.

---

The bigger vision

Derby.support can continue with or without major support. We can build our domains, grow our social media presence, enrol people onto TXTWRK.com, connect businesses and community groups, promote events, create feedback tools for organisations, places and objects, and inspire students to gain real experience through community-made systems.

Community comes first. Business sits inside community. Students sit inside community. Events sit inside community. Local discovery sits inside community. Derby.support is the network being built to connect all of it.

Join early

Register on TXTWRK.com. Add your bio. Add your events. Become discoverable through Derby.support. Help shape Derby’s community-built network before the next stage begins.

1. Opening Context: Why Derby.support Is Enrolling Through TXTWRK.com

Derby.support is now moving into a direct enrolment stage.

The aim is to enrol people, businesses, venues, creators, students, community groups and local supporters onto TXTWRK.com so they can become part of Derby.support’s local discovery network.

TXTWRK.com provides the registration and publishing layer. Derby.support provides the Derby-facing local discovery, event visibility, community structure and long-term network direction.

This means members can:
•register;
•add a bio;
•publish updates;
•answer questions;
•add events;
•become linkable through Derby.support;
•become easier for locals to find.

The goal is not only to build a directory. The goal is to build a living local network.

---

2. Community First: The Core Mission

Derby.support is community first.

Business is important, but business is not separate from community. Students are not separate from community. Events are not separate from community. Local discovery is not separate from community.

A real local network must include:
•residents;
•businesses;
•students;
•venues;
•creators;
•service providers;
•community groups;
•projects;
•events;
•public places;
•local issues;
•local feedback;
•future opportunities.

Derby.support exists to help Derby understand itself, connect itself and support itself.

The wider community question bank already proves this. It covers work, skills, learning, city image, activities, safety, initiatives, venues, local organisations and community involvement.

---

3. Why Businesses Sit Inside the Community Network

Businesses are part of local life.

A café, shop, venue, studio, market trader, event organiser, service provider, creator, charity, community group or independent trader can all shape how Derby feels.

Businesses need customers, but they also need:
•visibility;
•trust;
•footfall;
•feedback;
•online reach;
•event promotion;
•student support;
•local collaboration;
•easier ways to explain what they offer.

Derby.support can help businesses become more discoverable while also helping local people find useful services, events, places and opportunities.

This is why the business enrolment stage matters.

---

4. The Derby.support / TXTWRK.com Enrolment Model

The enrolment model is simple:

StepActionOutcome
1Register on TXTWRK.comMember has an account/profile
2Add bio and public detailsDerby.support can understand who they are
3Add category/locationMember can be placed into relevant menus
4Add posts/updatesMember can share activity
5Add eventsEvents can become discoverable through Derby.support
6Answer questionnaire setsDerby.support gains local intelligence
7Join events/meetupsOnline discovery becomes real-world connection
This gives Derby.support a practical way to grow.

---

5. What Members Can Do After Registering

After registering on TXTWRK.com, members can:
•create a public bio;
•explain who they are;
•share their business/project/group;
•add updates;
•add events;
•answer questions;
•join grouped questionnaire sets;
•become linkable through Derby.support;
•become part of Derby’s local discovery network.

For businesses, this means more than just being listed. It gives them a route into local visibility, event discovery, customer feedback and future support tools.

For community groups, it gives a way to be found.

For students, it creates a route into real projects.

For residents, it creates a better way to see what is happening around Derby.

---

6. How Derby.support Indexing Works

Derby.support indexing means that a TXTWRK member can become linked through Derby.support menus.

The member may be organised by:
•area;
•category;
•business type;
•event type;
•service type;
•community role;
•student opportunity;
•products/services;
•feedback routes;
•local relevance.

This matters because Derby.support needs to make Derby easier to navigate.

The existing question bank already includes questions about zones, areas, venues, amenities and city navigation, showing that Derby.support has been thinking about place structure as well as general community feedback.

---

7. How TXTWRK Events Become Discoverable on Derby.support

When a member adds an event on TXTWRK.com, that event can become discoverable through Derby.support.

This helps:
•businesses promote open days, workshops, pop-ups and launches;
•venues promote sessions and gatherings;
•community groups promote meetups;
•students find live projects;
•residents find local activity;
•Derby.support build a live event layer.

Events are one of the easiest ways to move from online connection to real-world community.

---

8. The 2021–2026 Derby.support Progress Story

2021 — Starting Up

Derby.support began as a local community effort to build better support, connection and visibility in Derby.

2022 — Building the Framework

The project developed its framework, community direction and wider structure.

2023 — Raising the Bar

Derby.support secured the Derby.support domain and held an important meeting with around 5–10 organisations and local figures, including Alan Graves, Derby Museums, BBC Radio Derby and others.

This period showed that Derby.support could bring people and organisations into a serious conversation about local community development.

2024 — TXTWRK Tools and Local Presence

Derby.support spent more time developing TXTWRK tools, getting people onboard, preparing local systems and building website sections.

2025 — Derby College Student Work

Derby.support worked with Derby College social media students, giving them real community campaign experience.

This proved the value of connecting students with local projects, and it created a pathway that should continue into 2026.

2026 — Direct Enrolment

Now in 2026, Derby.support is moving into direct enrolment.

There have been major challenges, no donations and no financial support, but Derby.support remains active, optimistic and ready to build the next stage directly with the people of Derby.

---

9. Named Organisational Context and Communication History

This section records Derby.support’s experience of trying to communicate, collaborate, apply, contribute, support and build locally.

It is not included to stop progress. It is included because the full context matters.

University of Derby

Derby.support’s experience with the University of Derby in 2023 was disappointing.

From Derby.support’s perspective, the project was mocked or not taken seriously enough during the 2023 meeting, and the professional follow-up expected after engagement did not happen.

This matters because Derby.support was presenting a project connected to students, enterprise, civic technology, local development and community infrastructure.

Marketing Derby / CityLab

Derby.support attempted to support and recognise activity connected to Marketing Derby’s CityLab project.

This included gifting a mini Derby.support plaque, supporting and writing about their activity, and making videos connected to popup shops and community activity involving others.

Derby.support’s experience was that this support was not meaningfully recognised or responded to.

Derby City Council

Derby.support experienced poor communication and lack of response around support and financial applications while working with Derby College students in summer 2025.

This was especially frustrating because Derby.support was actively nurturing students and creating local value at the time.

Derby County Football Club

Derby.support invited and tagged Derby County Football Club through social media.

From Derby.support’s experience, those invitations and tags were ignored, despite the club publicly promoting community activity.

National Lottery Fund and Other Derby-Based Routes

Derby.support also experienced limited or failed responses from wider funding and support routes, including the National Lottery Fund and other Derby-based organisations.

The point is not that every organisation must support Derby.support. The point is that Derby.support repeatedly tried to communicate, collaborate, support others, apply for support and build local value, but too often received silence, weak communication or no follow-through.

---

10. Why Derby.support Is Building Directly With People Now

Derby.support has tried formal routes.

It has tried meetings, communications, support applications, collaboration, local recognition and student development.

The repeated experience of poor response shows why Derby.support now needs to build directly with:
•people;
•businesses;
•students;
•venues;
•creators;
•community groups;
•residents;
•local supporters.

This direct approach means Derby.support can continue without waiting for permission or recognition from organisations that have already failed to respond properly.

The brighter side is that Derby.support can still build.

It can work on domains, social media presence, TXTWRK tools, event discovery, feedback systems, questionnaire sets, student pathways and local menus.

---

11. What Derby.support Has Already Built

Derby.support has already built and developed:
•the Derby.support domain;
•the Derby Community Hub direction;
•TXTWRK-linked profile and posting infrastructure;
•a broad community question bank;
•the grouped questionnaire concept;
•local discovery ideas;
•event discovery direction;
•business/community indexing plans;
•student campaign experience;
•social media foundations;
•feedback tool concepts;
•community-made tool direction;
•local menus and navigation ideas.

The existing A4 briefing already states that Derby.support has community questions covering work, skills, city image, venues, initiatives, activities, safety, support and community involvement.

This shows that Derby.support has not suddenly started with business.

The business layer comes after years of community-first development.

---

12. What Derby.support Is Building Next

The next stage includes:
•enrolling businesses on TXTWRK.com;
•enrolling community members and supporters;
•helping members add bios;
•linking profiles into Derby.support menus;
•making events discoverable through Derby.support;
•grouping question posts into questionnaire sets;
•highlighting existing community questions relevant to business;
•creating new business multi-choice questions;
•identifying who wants to attend the next Derby.support event;
•connecting students with businesses and community projects;
•building feedback tools for organisations, places and objects;
•developing Derby.support as a long-term community discovery layer.

This is the next practical phase of the network.

---

13. Business Enrolment Plan

The business enrolment plan should be direct and easy to follow.

StepActionPurpose
1Explain Derby.supportShow community-first mission
2Explain TXTWRK.comShow where they register
3Ask them to registerCreate profile/account
4Ask them to add bioPrepare public listing
5Confirm category/locationPrepare Derby.support indexing
6Ask if they run eventsPrepare event discovery
7Ask if they want to be listedConfirm consent/interest
8Ask business questionsUnderstand needs
9Ask event interestBuild next event list
10Follow upKeep relationship alive
Businesses should not be given a long, exhausting form at first.

The questionnaire should be multi-choice first, with comment options where more detail is needed.

---

14. Questionnaire Strategy: Existing Community Questions + New Business Questions

The questionnaire strategy has four layers.

LayerPurposeUse
Existing community questionsReuse the wider 96-question/community bankLocal intelligence
Business-relevant highlightsSelect only questions that apply to business/community overlapAppendix A
Dedicated business questionsAsk what businesses specifically needAppendix B
Event follow-up questionsIdentify who wants to attend the next Derby.support eventAppendix C
This keeps the system organised.

It also avoids wasting the existing question bank.

The current TXTWRK/community question bank already includes questions about career status, work sectors, business setup, skills, Derby zones, venues, initiatives, digital boards, Derby’s image, whether organisations support people, and whether people feel they can have a say in city development.

---

15. Relevant Questions From the Existing 96-Question Community Bank

18. Student, Business and Community Collaboration

Student involvement is one of the strongest parts of the Derby.support story.

Derby.support worked with Derby College social media students in 2025, giving them practical community campaign experience.

In 2026, this should continue and expand.

Businesses can be asked whether they would support:
•student social media tasks;
•interviews;
•photography;
•video;
•flyers/posters;
•customer surveys;
•local research;
•event support;
•business write-ups;
•short creative briefs;
•work experience;
•mentoring;
•talks;
•showcases.

This helps students gain real experience while helping local businesses improve visibility and connection.

19. TXTWRK Implementation Notes: Grouping One-Question Posts Into Sets

TXTWRK can support this because each question can exist as a post.

Those posts can then be grouped into questionnaire sets.

20. Closing Position: Community First, Business Inside Community, Derby.support as the Long-Term Network

Derby.support is not being created for one campaign, one event or one short-term business push.

It is the basis of years of work and the next stage of what is to come.

The project started with community, built through challenge, faced silence from organisations that should have understood the value of local community development, and now moves forward by enrolling people directly through TXTWRK.com.

Community comes first.

Business sits inside community.

Students sit inside community.

Events sit inside community.

Local discovery sits inside community.

Feedback sits inside community.

Derby.support is the network being built to connect all of it.

The long-term position is clear:

Derby.support will continue building with or without major support. It will enrol people through TXTWRK.com, connect businesses and community groups, promote events, create feedback tools, support students, build questionnaire sets, gather local intelligence and help Derby people find each other.

Derby Community Hub Progress Report

Progress period: 2025 to 2026

Release date: 10/05/2026

Opening reflection: the sound of Derby

The sound of Derby is in the background.

One which we have mastered through the art of freedom: recording on the move, capturing Derby mottos, documenting real moments, and shaping some of the world’s best work as it is being scripted right now in audio, picture and writing.

We are all directors today.

Everywhere is our stage, and now we can all play a role together.

We like to write the stories, while also being on the move, gaining real life experience with the community, in real spaces. We are the changemakers of today, just like @derbyedward, championed us as recently in the industry.

Edward is a real life character at @DerbyCollege who everyone loves: a great supporter of community growth, leadership and opportunity.

---

A message of recognition for Edward

We look forward to making a special Derby Community Hub event for you, Edward.

Whether you want to play talk show, comedian, or simply enjoy the room with your special invites, we can look forward to opening conversations further around recognition and contribution programmes for our city, where everyone matters.

Maybe Anthony and Charles could help us here with ideas, especially with Charles interested in joining our board.

Over 20 years ago, @ImSunnyClaire recognised you as the IT course leader when he was in education. That memory now connects to the present, where education, technology, community and leadership can meet again in a new way.

---

The once in a lifetime opportunity

Edward gave us a once in a lifetime opportunity in Summer 2025, and we made the most of it.

We were more than prepared for 2026.

We documented every moment publicly to all of our stakeholders across both establishments, right up to making applications for grants, where we hope these organisations respond back to us soon, so we can continue this great work now and into the future.

Even if it is just one student using our service over one year, or 10, or 100, the option is there.

We want to offer these opportunities for as long as we operate as a community of innovation in technology and education.

Working with the Derby College Social Media team

There are now steps we want to make with the @DerbyCollege Social Media team.

These include learning more about how to interact with communities better, acknowledging posts that were made by Derby College students on behalf of the organisations they do work for, and analysing our platform at TXTWRK, where their students were enrolled and developing.

This is important because we tagged Derby College in student posts, meaning there is already a public trail of participation, learning, activity and community involvement.

The improvements include understanding, at management level, when students are enrolling in workplace experience for their social media module.

Why?

Because it helps Derby College understand:
•how their students learn with other organisations;
•which months their posts will be posted;
•which channels of the community or business they are making a campaign for;
•how student work is being publicly represented;
•where recognition should happen;
•where guidance or safeguarding may be useful;
•how their internal social media team can engage with student campaigns as they develop.

This is not just a layer of recognition.

It is also a layer of security.

It also creates a pathway where students could ask the Derby College Social Media team a quick, simple question, or receive pointers while working with external organisations.

The aim is to build a stronger link between the students’ module and the Derby College Social Media team.

The goal is to continue being engaging, as the Derby College team engaged with us in the months before we partnered together, liking our posts at times. That showed we shone through back then, and that there was a team that saw us.

Ideally, we now need you to see the students’ posts too.

---

Communication improvements

Now let’s talk about Derby College’s improvements in communication, but also our own.

We could have been more interested in wanting to follow up with a bumper email. This is more so a weakness in our structures too.

We sent an email, we did not get a response, and we should have been more interested in following up with another email to ensure this partnership remained live.

This is a classic community-to-community issue.

We will address these issues further by enforcing that email is a basic protocol that requires weekly or monthly check-ins. Even when we are busy working on other agendas, certain emails should still be fired out, with follow-ups too.

We will aim to do better as a community.

As we expand, new efficiencies will be recognised.

---

Derby Community Hub, TXTWRK Checklists and Social Media Development

From our @DerbyCommunityHub!Community Tools: Checklists: Social Media Development! where Derby College @DerbyCollege students have already participated, future students will be able to see how students worked in the past, with organisations publicly and transparently before enrolling.

That is why TXTWRK Checklists is a powerful tool.

The truth is that we were working on a very agile working framework through our community hub on TXTWRK at the same time. Therefore, the tool itself even took on important updates whilst the students were using it, but the experience was not compromised.

There was originally a direction of everyone making their own checklist. Through feedback, we improved the technology so that a checklist could be copied, which we made possible in a matter of a few hours.

In the end, this became more efficient during an early turn in the development of our partnership, as the students were able to work through the Derby Community Hub checklist while the framework continued developing around them.

Later on, we realised that copying a checklist was not always the greatest feature for every community route. It is often better when each community, organisation, team or student group can make their own checklist from the start, with their own purpose, history, updates and contributions.

That is the real power of TXTWRK Checklists.

It can support shared working, but it can also support independent community-led working.

In the future too, students can work through @DerbyCollege:Checklists! where Derby College can begin to offer work experience directly for their own students, while keeping the structure, recognition and progress visible in one place.

---

Student experience and real community recognition

We enjoyed reviewing the students’ essays once, twice, and sometimes a third time, as requested by the students.

This included helping them construct their next campaign for Derby Community Hub, playing a real life moment in community, and gaining experience that can open new doors.

This is experience they can document on their CVs, right up to mentioning how they interacted with innovative startups in their next interview.

Sunny has also been spotted in Derby by some of the students a few times and greeted with a “Hey Sunny” as we casually pass through the city of Derby. That shows a level of respect for his work and the relationship that was built beyond the screen, beyond the classroom, and into the real community itself.

The students can now lead the way.

They practically did the work for Edward, Anthony and Charles, where they provided a full review of their experience, not knowingly, and their work shone through in their understanding of what social media is. This included their in-depth summaries of the new Derby startup TXTWRK.

We got the intel without final review data.

---

Why TXTWRK matters for future students

The great thing is that TXTWRK offers this opportunity publicly and transparently.

It gives people the chance to work confidently, adding to their career profiles from early life right up to later life.

Through @DerbyCommunityHub’s and @UnitedKingdom’s checklists, people can shape community, have a say, and leave contributions that could be remembered in hundreds of years to come.

We do not want to be the only option.

That is the power of community.

We will offer work placement opportunities to all educational institutions in Derby, within our constraints, aiming to create management depths of volunteering that help us grow and set a benchmark for other organisations to follow in the future.

When we see @DerbyCollege make their page, we look forward to guiding them all the way through integration, with special service, as students have signed in numerous times over the last number of months since our last workshops.

Therefore, it is important to acknowledge.

We shown through our time together, we could adapt as a community in a timely manner, take on complex partnerships and requirements, adapt between another venture 'TXTWRK - the network: a Derby startup which will forever be here in the space, offering opportunities to everyone, worldwide' - which is now a key component of how Derby.support operates, to change, upgrade technology and make students aware of their opportunities, from starting up to giving feedback for our city, made for everyone.

---

Current campaign priority: the 100 question questionnaire

Right, in other news, we continue to progress.

Our priorities are focused around campaigning for everyone to answer our 100 question questionnaire.

This is one that can open your eyes into what is around us, or what can be around us.

It is not just any questionnaire.

It is one which really makes a difference, where we can all begin to shape Derby to cater for its citizens, us, everyone who lives, works and makes Derby a better place.

@DerbyCommunityHub:Qs!

Get into the questions now.

This is your chance to promote this questionnaire to all family and friends today.

---

Wider Derby Community Hub update

In essence, this is an all-in-one Derby Community Hub update from over the last few months.

It covers:
•what we have been working on;
•our weaknesses as a community;
•our willingness to be transparent;
•our ability to be constructive without hurting community feelings;
•the creation of new and existing spaces where we can all contribute better;
•the ongoing development of TXTWRK as a platform for community growth.

We have even started benchmarking with @TXTWRK!Documentation: Location: Addresses! this Spring 2026.

This includes working on technology that can help communities and startups make shared working spaces using the TXTWRK Addresses feature.

This can be beneficial to any community on the planet wanting to share bills and increase more visitors to their stores or centres.

We needed a way inwards.

We needed an address.

Or even better, a shared address.

---

The Joseph Wright Centre and future volunteering

Derby College members have assured us that there are pathways into using The Joseph Wright Centre @DerbyCollege, particularly the library, to lead the way of volunteering for the future on behalf of Derby Community Hub.

Derby Community Hub, through www.Derby.support(http://www.Derby.support), can use this as a great mini space, which can become the home of volunteering.

This can showcase Derby College practices on health and safety, right up to connecting with other organisations.

We want to be agile in this space and take on feedback at community level. We also want to push these updates to our partners @TXTWRK and apply these updates as and when needed.

---

Derby Community Hub zones

We want to feel like all Derby establishments can implement a Derby Community Hub zone.

We will soon have the option of being able to offer partnership, sponsorship and grant opportunities for communities through a new TXTWRK feature rolling out this May 2026.

Through this, we aim to seek financial grant packages which we can mediate and distribute to communities and people who want to play a long-term role in developing our city.

We will have to make an application to the government this Spring 2026, and we look forward to partnering and offering sponsorship opportunities too.

---

Safe pathways, community themes and shop updates

Recently, we made updates on our TXTWRK channel outlining all safe pathways through to Derby Community Hub.

These can be seen on our Intel info reels, from the email addresses you can trust to our phone numbers.

We also made a new monthly community theme that people can latch on to, join in the conversation, and help us shape our experiences.

We are still in the steps of fully rolling this out across all of our social media networks.

Do not forget, we added new stock in store too:

@DerbyCommunityHub:Shop Now!

And it is just the start.

We plan on partnering with many Derby-based fashion organisations to make exclusive @ImDerby merchandise.

We want volunteers to help take this to the next level.

The people are there.

The opportunity is here.

We have even covered a few ongoing events happening in Derby via TXTWRK. We wish we were more active over the last six months, but technology has not always favoured us.

We are working on making sure we have dedicated phones, laptops and other tools to do the job, as our founder has been struggling without a smartphone for a while now, with lack of support and that type of drill.
