Topic: Feedback

As a feedback based community, we believe that Derby College could’ve done a lot better when we worked with them.

Each week we would keep the Derby College team & students informed about progress and what to do next. Derby College failed to keep in touch weekly and also failed to provide me with a review, alongside failing to responding to my application for grant support.

Now we have to question what this really means today. We will be translating this back to Derby College this week.

When students exceed and are inspired from your new community, which you have given your time for free to read all of their essays once twice or three times, alongside the 3 workshops we did last summer, that basic review is just how a professional college operates.

We operated to the highest standard, even when we adapted we kept all of the students in the loop. Now it feels like they don’t want us even though we have not followed up them they should’ve followed up us. In fact, we did send them a few email nudges for the review, including tagging them on social media, seeking a review.

When people give their time for free, at least give them a little something, this is volunteering, not using. — ImSunnyClaire

🌍 DERBY.SUPPORT — FULL REPORT: COMMUNITY CALL DAY

TXTWRK.com/@DerbyCommunityHub

By 12 today, we completed Derby’s first full community connection map — linking all 30 communities to real organisations, clubs, centres and hubs you can actually ring, visit, collaborate with, and build alongside.

This is the foundation of Derby.support:
A citywide network where every neighbourhood, every culture, every family, every student and every grassroots group can connect, discover and work together.

Today’s conclusion:
Derby’s communities aren’t abstract — they’re real people, real places, real numbers, real futures.
And now they’re all reachable.

---

If we didn’t include you, email Go@Derby.support — everyone is included, we will make the space!

Sadly, more proof in the pudding that Derby is on a downhill slide, from places closing down to hit & runs, from troubling councils to careless law systems, change is needed, not in an artificial media “we’re going to change this” way, but strategically let’s see this Derby seek our feedback & actually use it! Go to the communities & organisations and give them better guidance & support.

We knew that Derby was on a track to a very bad place as early as 2021, hence we set up a program called UK safer streets, where even Derbyshire Constabulary failed to join us on core community meetings, after tagging them emailing them phoning them, they showed their intent for community.

Don’t be disappointed from this news, most members of our city are playing their role, but when we can fix the major problems in our city, then these awful things do not and should not happen again! We also know that it’s not just a Derby problem, but a global problem; therefore we’re not just fighting for Derby, we’re fighting for the voices of everybody in our world. We are seeking for new programs and campaigns to start, nationally, as community is appearing to align to previous media & government pressures. We will command our Derby as a centre of excellence in education and engineering solutions to big world problems.

Start your community or start-up and we will do our best to help you succeed in our city of Derby where our founder can’t wait to experience your new journey. Simply start changing Derby today by joining www.TXTWRK.com and follow us here, where it’s beginning to start — a Derby network supporting your future, a mini Silicon Valley in the works!

Anyone can spend a council budget and act like their city is working, but there’s another thing seeing a city working.

What we see is nationwide business games & control, ran by individuals who are willing to extort the system or work around loopholes to make money. It’s clearer now that our local councils are just as bad as our national governments; things must & will change in how they scrutinise every pound spent.

A council that is not in it for community, one that wastes our opportunities and doesn’t ask for enough from central government!

The truth of the matter is that Derby City Council don’t really run our city, that’s why the image has eroded over the years; that’s why we’re here, after decades of decline, it’s time to take our land back from the business savages, it’s time to make all industries thrive in our city, not just the big tech or ones who have financial weight, it’s time to set very high standards, but this time keep them, as we do remember the values we upheld in the past.

They see that it’s important to invest in themselves, but not all of us; this must change! You can now deliver feedback to @DerbyCityCouncil @DerbyCC via @TXTWRK post box

We expect a more inclusive Derby City Council, we expect a more responsive Derby City Council, we expect a city, not a broken town without standards for how our high streets should look, work & support our community!

Opening up consultation into the development of housing not just near schools, but also in the city centre of Derby, right out to the suburbs. This feedback is based on the Landau Forte school, where the AG group is currently preparing the foundations. We have many locations across our city to build on, what are you views on this?
