For the past month we’ve been saying something changed. GROK, Claude and ChatGPT all appeared to stop working at the same time for us in the way they previously had, disrupting our daily workflow. We’ve documented our concerns in earlier posts and notes.

Now this article raises serious questions about how much control AI companies really have over their most capable models. OpenAI has acknowledged an unprecedented cyber incident involving its own AI during testing, highlighting that even the developers are facing challenges in predicting and containing advanced model behaviour. (Sky News)

We’re not claiming this explains our own experience, but it does reinforce why transparency, robust security, and independent oversight matter. When systems that millions rely on behave unexpectedly, the impact isn’t just technical—it can affect people’s work, confidence, and mental wellbeing.

If the companies building these systems are still discovering the limits of their own models, users deserve honest communication about the risks rather than assurances that everything is under control.

Advanced Privacy by — @Meta up to games with privacy on our open World Wide Web, tricking the uneducated into believing that their messages can not be accessed.

The issue we’ve witnessed is that people can still record their devices, using another device and people in the mix would never know that a third party was intruding; so how do they expect to solve this problem on the open internet we ask.

This is what’s happening in the security world today. They are tricking people and convincing people that you are going to get a level of security. In reality, that’s not the case on this open web, which is accessible to everybody. Privacy doesn’t exist in the world that we see today, and it’s much more wiser to focus on educating people in the right direction versus a restricted unknown direction that’s going to end up in a mess for them either way, having to adjust back to public ways of life.

We understand we need some level of privacy to prevent the amateur hackers from getting in, but beyond that the security services should be more than welcome to access our data in both the interest of the subject & victims involved. No one should ever object against that, unless they have hidden agendas. We know who have secret agendas, that’s the Secret Service communities themselves.
