16 weeks later at TXTWRK and today we added 47,000 locations into our database of locations around the world, alongside allowing people to add locations. In addition we enabled new feeds called My Location, My Region & My Country which work alongside our new location updates.
It's part of an undocumented group of ongoing updates that we could clearly see needed updating. We've made the process easy at registration & profile updating, significant to finding communities & people local to you.
There will also be another feed implemented today, based on latitude & longitude set posts (where you can already set the location on/off). We will also open up channels to include their address details and people can begin to check in at organisations too.
